Style & Finch were delighted to contribute to the refurbishment of Ibis Styles York, delivering a complete package of bespoke joinery and furniture across all front-of-house areas.
Working closely with the interior design team, the project presented both a creative challenge and an exciting opportunity to bring a bold and distinctive vision to life. Our involvement centred on the full reimagining of the hotel’s public spaces, including the reception, bar, and restaurant/breakfast areas, transforming them into vibrant and cohesive environments.
We designed, manufactured, and installed a wide range of bespoke joinery elements, including the bar and reception desk, feature wall panelling, banquette seating, bespoke tables, and intricate detailing such as beer bottle display dividers. Each component was carefully considered and expertly crafted to complement the overall design narrative while meeting the practical demands of a busy hospitality setting.
A defining feature of the project is the striking copper brewing tree, which acts as a dramatic focal point within the space and exemplifies the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail delivered throughout.
The result is a characterful and engaging series of front-of-house spaces, combining playful design with robust, high-quality finishes to create a memorable guest experience.
